take out Membership by filling in and sending us one of
the following membership forms. Your personal details
are kept safe on a password protected database in order
to inform you about our celebrations and meetings. Your
personal details are never passed on to a third party |
CCDN Membership
CCDN members come from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds and
cultural heritage and include all those people whose ancestral
origins are: African, Asian, Caribbean, Chinese, Middle Eastern,
Eastern European, Irish, Romany, and the indigenous peoples of
the South Pacific islands, the American continents, Australia
and New Zealand.
Membership is FREE and open to all Black, Asian, minority ethnic
and mixed parentage people, BME organisation and ALL members of
their families & friends, including fostered or adoptive
families.
Associated membership is available with a suggested minimum
donation of £10.00 for individuals & £50.00 for organisations
that do not fit the above criteria, but wish to actively support
the network.
CCDN Code of Conduct
By taking out free membership you commit to honour the following
Code of Conduct, which serves to uplift and empower:

person irrespective of colour, ethnic origin, religious
beliefs, culture, gender, disability, sexuality, age,
ability, nationality or marital status

Receiving for every member: the more we invest, the more we

the needs of each child & young person
We
adhere to the Eight Data Protection Act Principles
These specify that your personal data must be:
1. Processed
fairly and lawfully.
2. Obtained for
the specified and lawful purposes of informing you about events
and the work of CCDN and obtain statistical information in
respect of evidencing our membership.
3. Adequate,
relevant and not excessive.
4. Accurate and
up to date. Please inform us of any changes.
5. Not kept any
longer than necessary.
6. Processed in
accordance with the “data subject’s” (the individual’s) rights.
7. Securely kept,
password protected.
8. Not
transferred to any other country without adequate protection in
situ.
