We are Amanda & Fazleh Rabbani, developing an Import/Export Business & Retail Outlet HOUSE OF RABBANI Euro-Asian Fashion & Accessories   both online and via stalls building up our customer base – which we wish to cumulate with opening a local shop. We are exploring the model of a co-operative, which would help us to create a self-sustaining and strong business, aiming to support and enrich the lives of both employees and customers.   Our products are children’s clothes from an international range of suppliers, made to measure garments, and also a wide range of leather goods & shoes supplied specifically from a Bangladesh factory, which is part of our extended family network in Dhaka. I am also keen to sell ethnic food products, which are not readily available in our local area. This is helped by the fantastic skills and creativity that Fazleh's cooking & my design skills can add to our venture. Family members travel regularly abroad and this will also enable us to widen our product range in line with local demand. The fact that we have direct and knowledge access to local languages is a great advantage in researching good quality products at competitive prices and also in communicating with customers here.   Celebrating Cultural Diversity Network's Local Enterprise Pilot has helped us to write and improve our business & marketing plan, building confidence and practical support. We are keen to receive the  £750 Start Up Grant towards a grand LAUNCH event, which will introduce a comprehensive range of our quality products to wholesalers and potential local customers.
