Development of RE-SOURCE: A Cultural Diversity Centre
CCDN
consults on the needs and feasibility of a community owned Resource and
Training Centre based in Hastings & St Leonards, which not only meets
the need for
-
developing a continuous clear and simple “one-stop shop” access
point for all Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities, that
holds the
-
capacity to share facilities (e.g. office facilities, hot desks,
storage, meeting rooms, activity rooms) and support & core costs
(e.g. admin and reception services) more effectively. We explore
-
possibilities for greater income generations in order to support
sustainability of services to and from BME communities and increased
coordination that avoids duplication of service provisions, unless
there is specific added value,
-
fostering sustainable long term relationships between BME support
organisations and
-
providing generic support to maximise quality, efficiency and
learning.
Please come,
contact
us and support our visions for developing a beautiful new home, building
community assets, taking pride in welcoming our neighbours, exchanging
our rich cultures and learning from each other.
The
process to achieve our vision has been summarised as follows:
Building Local Support

Securing Finance
