1st
Strategic Objective – Collaboration
We
will, through increased coordination and transparency, make the best use
of BME groups existing infrastructure resources and expertise in order
to eliminate gaps and overlaps of provision.
2nd
Strategic Objective – Sector Promotion
We
will develop a stronger voice so as to increase the long-term
recognition, by other sectors, of a complementary but independent BME
led Voluntary and Community Sector.
3rd
Strategic Objective – Quality
We seek
to improve the quality of services delivered through the selection and
training of both Board of Directors, Management and staff (paid and
unpaid). Quality improvements will be measured by the use of
self-assessment techniques and review processes .g. PQASSO.
4th
Strategic Objective – Communication
We
will implement a communications strategy that will
increase the awareness, within front-line BME led Voluntary and
Community Sector groups, of our role. This strategy will seek to educate
and integrate the providers within the Sector as well as improving
intra-partnership communications.
5th
Strategic Objective – Joint Working
We
will define a “road map” to establish protocols and mechanisms for joint
working that will allow a holistic approach to be taken and innovation
to be captured.
