In July I received my ordination as an Interfaith Minister and wanted to
share with you what I can offer to the community. Please feel free to email
me with any questions that you may have.
As an Ordained Interfaith Minister, I have a
wonderful opportunity to offer ministry to everyone, regardless of their
religious or spiritual background. I am in addition, trained to offer
Spiritual Counselling. Interfaith Ministry for me, is service to the
community that celebrates the message of love at the heart of all faiths
and affirms the beauty of all paths to God, who is known by many
different names.
The Interfaith philosophy honours the values, beauty,
and wisdom in all world religions and spiritual belief systems. It is an
opportunity to cultivate spiritual unity and to enrich our individual
faith journeys.
I have been fully trained to perform all religious
services, so it is my joy to provide interfaith, traditional,
non-traditional, and non-denominational weddings, commitment, baby
blessing, baby namings and other family ceremonies, healing ceremonies,
memorial or funeral services, worship services and other personal
life-milestone ceremonies and celebrations at your request.
I can support events that serve to offer and
encourage healing, forgiveness, reconciliation and joining for
individuals, families and communities.
I am trained to support individuals, their families
and communities to develop a sense of personal spirituality, drawing on
their own and the spiritual practices of many different religions.
I can work with you to create the ceremony that you
most want, and means working closely with you to provide a sacred
service which is meaningful, and which reflects your spiritual values
and beliefs; whilst honouring your life experiences and personal
commitments.
I am also committed to working under a specific set
of interfaith principles and code of ethics.
