Health & Well Being
We have a special interest in ensuring that the health
needs of BME communities are met. This is undertaken through
facilitating appropriate research and through representing the interests
of BME communities at various forums and partnerships. CCDN plays a role
in the ‘inequalities in health’ agenda and supports service providers to
address this issue. CCDN aims to improve access to health helping to
deliver specialist, innovative and culturally appropriate services in
areas such as mental health, HIV and AIDS.
