Dr. Hafiz
El-Naima has been very influential in shaping CCDN in the first year of
business. He resigned as a director in November 2006 for personal
reasons.
Hafiz, of Sudanese heritage, has an academic background
and earned a Masters degree from the Soviet Union in
1959 as well as a PHD in Economics in Hungary in 1982.
He further achieved a BA in Law in Sudan in 2001. He has
lectured extensively in Algeria and Sudan in Financial
studies. Hafiz is a practising Muslim and is married
with three daughters and one son.
“I hold a deep desire to see a society in which we create a common
understanding, good relations and an atmosphere of co existence between
diverse cultures and faith. I wish to further Community Research and
improved outcomes and support for Refugee and Asylum Seeking
Communities.
